A standard model is suggested to explore correlation features of two spatially separated optomechanical cavities. The cavities are coupled through the photon-hopping process. In particular, we investigate the generation of entanglement between mechanical resonators in the strong coupling regime and the two cavities are assumed to be driven by a coherent laser field. In order to quantify entanglement we use the logarithmic negativity. The analytical solutions are presented for the system in a parameter regime very close to the current experimental results. We show that in the presence of the photon hopping process between the cavities, the two mechanical resonators and the field modes can be entangled. This shows clearly that the entanglement can be transfer via radiation pressure of a photon hopping coupling from the intracavity photon-phonon entanglements to an inter-cavity photon-photon or phonon-phonon entanglement.  相似文献

We have measured fully differential cross sections for photo double ionization of helium 450 eV above the threshold. We have found an extremely asymmetric energy sharing between the photoelectrons and an angular asymmetry parameter beta approximately 2 and beta approximately 0 for the fast and slow electrons, respectively. The electron angular distributions show a dominance of the shakeoff for 2 eV electrons and clear evidence of an inelastic electron-electron scattering at an electron energy of 30 eV. The data are in excellent agreement with convergent close-coupling calculations.  相似文献

Background  

With the advent of antiretroviral therapy (ART) cases of immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (IRIS) have increasingly been reported. IRIS usually occurs in individuals with a rapidly rising CD4 T-cell count or percentage upon initiation of ART, who develop a deregulated immune response to infection with or without reactivation of opportunistic organisms. Here, we evaluated rises in absolute CD4 T-cells, and specific CD4 T-cell responses in 4 HIV-1+ individuals presenting with mycobacterial associated IRIS who received in conjunction with ART, IL-2 plus GM-CSF immunotherapy.  相似文献

Run-to-run sample separation reproducibility has been compared on two commercial high performance capillary electrophoresis units which differ in the mode by which the capillary temperature is thermostatted. Three standard analytes, differing dramatically in molecular character and size, were used for the analysis: benzoic acid, a 14 amino acid peptide from human chorionic gonadotropin, and ribonuclease A represent, respectively, small stable organic molecules, small peptides with little or no secondary structure, and proteins with secondary structure. These standards were evaluated with regard to reproducibility of migration time, peak area, and peak height. The analyses, performed in buffers of optimum pH for the separations, demonstrated that the liquid and forced air convection thermostatted systems both performed extremely well. The reproducibility, as judged by the percent coefficient of variance (% CV) of replicate analyses, was generally found to be less than 1 % (migration time); the reproducibility decreased in the order migration time > peak height > peak area. Whereas the absolute % CV values for MTrel (migration relative to a standard) observed with the liquid thermostatted system were 2- to 4-fold lower than those observed with the forced air convection thermostatted system, there was little statistically significant difference between the two. As expected, the data indicated a reduction in reproducibility as the complexity of the analyte increased, perhaps as the result of an increased potential for wall interactions. Comparing separations in which low (≈?1 watt/meter [W/m] of capillary) and high (>5 W/m) Joule heat was generated by altering the sodium chloride content of the buffer revealed few statistically significant differences in the reproducibility obtained from the two systems. With these particular standard analytes and their respective buffer systems, there appears to be little difference between forced air convection and liquid thermostatting of the capillary.  相似文献

We prove for random variables with values in the space of cadlag functions - endowed with the supremum metric - that convergence in law is equivalent to nonstandard constructions of internal -cadlag processes, which represent up to an infinitesimal error the limit process. It is not required that the limit process is concentrated on the space , so that the theory is applicable to a wider class of limit processes as e.g. to Poisson processes or Gaussian processes. If we consider in the Skorokhod metric - instead of the supremum metric - we obtain a corresponding equivalence to constructions of internal processes with -separated jumps. We apply these results to functional central limit theorems.

We have previously described the development of a novel capillary-based photopolymerized monolith that offered unprecedented efficiency (approximately 85%) for DNA extraction from pre-purified human genomic DNA [J. Wen, C. Guillo, J.P. Ferrance, J.P. Lander, Anal. Chem. 78 (2006) 1673]. However, the major drawback associated with this phase was the limited binding capacity and low extraction efficiency (<40%) when purifying nucleic acids from a volume of whole blood greater than 0.1 microL. The limited DNA binding capacity, hypothesized to result from an overwhelming mass of protein overloading the monolith phase, severely limits the clinical utility, which will require a whole blood DNA capacity orders of magnitude larger. One proposed solution involved use of a protein capture bed to remove the majority of the protein present in blood before nucleic acid extraction was performed. To evaluate this, microchips with different channel configurations were designed and tested containing silica beads with various reversed phases, and their protein capture efficiency determined. Triton X-100 in the cell lysis buffer was found to be a critical component, greatly affecting the binding of proteins to the C18 reversed phase. An optimum Triton X-100 concentration of 0.1% was determined to enhance red and white blood cell lysis without adversely affecting protein binding to the C18 phase. A parallel 4-chamber design was found to be optimal, with 70% of the proteins (1020+/-45 microg) from a load solution containing 10 microL of whole blood captured on the C18 phase in a single microdevice. Electrophoretic analysis of the proteins in the flow-through of the C18 phase showed the absence of hemoglobin and larger proteins/peptides, indicating that they had been captured by the C18 phase, preventing these polymerase chain reaction inhibitory proteins from reaching and binding to the subsequent matrix which would be used for DNA capture.  相似文献

We investigate single-photon double ionization of H(2) by 130 to 240 eV circularly polarized photons. We find a double slitlike interference pattern in the sum momentum of both electrons in the molecular frame which survives integration over all other degrees of freedom. The difference momentum and the individual electron momentum distributions do not show such a robust interference pattern. We show that this interference results from a non-Heitler-London fraction of the H(2) ground state where both electrons are at the same atomic center.  相似文献
